The Solihull & Coventry Automated Links Evolution (SCALE)

The 13-month SCALE project will deploy three 12-seater shuttles and provide a new commercial commuter service that links Birmingham International Rail Station with Birmingham Business Park, through the National Exhibition Centre site, with 5G remote operations trialled in Coventry; the new service and routes will be operated by Transport for West Midlands. Working closely with Ohmio, Smart City Consultancy will provide a Control Centre in Milton Keynes and integrate the shuttles into the Transport for West Midlands Control Centre.
